Beliutin met the pro-rector in Charge of International Affairs of the University of Lodz, professor Zofia Wysokińska Ph.D. Representatives of universities discussed cooperation prospects in education, sciences and culture, emphasized mutual aspiration to implement the basic principles of Bologna Process, besides they discussed the academic mobility of teachers and students, ensuring quality of education, etc.

Training of postgraduates from Smolensk State University in University of Hildesheim (Germany)
Marina Anastasia and Melentyeva Lukoyanova, postgraduates from Smolensk State University on the program "Pedagogical Education" ("Educational Management") will be six-week research fellows at University of Hildesheim (Germany). This training involves improving of intercultural competence through meetings with native speakers, development of linguistic-cultural realities etc.

The lecturers from the Department of German Language N.N. Bolshakova and S.A. Baruzdina will take part in the forum of Russian teachers, professors and lecturers, who teach German “Foreign language is a way to cooperation”, which is arranged by the German cultural centre named after Goethe and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation in framework of the year of Germany in Russia (November 17-18, 2012).

Literature project
Students of the Faculty of Philology from Smolensk State University took part in the literature project “Lesen. Wissen. Spaβ”, that had been arranged by the German cultural centre named after Geothe and the German and French reading room of the Smolensk Regional University Library. On December 19 there will be summing up the results of the project.
